Emergency Paediatric First Aid (1 Day Course) 
Cost £95 Per Person
Prices inclusive of VAT

This one-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills related to children, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe environment for children infants.

The qualification is Ofqual accredited and valid for three years.

The course comprises of practical work and theoretical classroom work, as well as a practical assessment on CPR and first aid.

Course Content

A range of subjects are covered including:

  • Understanding the role of the paediatric first aider

  • How to provide first aid for an infant and a child who is unresponsive and not breathing normally

  • How to provide first aid to an infant and a child who is suffering from shock

  • How to assess an emergency situation and act safely and effectively

  • How to provide first aid for an infant and a child who has a foreign body airway obstruction

  • How to provide first aid for an infant and a child who is unresponsive and breathing normally

  • How to provide first aid to an infant and a child who is wounded and bleeding

Cost £150 Per Person

This two-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills related to children, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe environment for children and infants.

The course comprises of practical work and theoretical classroom work, as well as a practical assessment on CPR and first aid.

Course Content

A range of subjects are covered including:

  • Understanding the role of the paediatric first aider

  • Provide first aid for an infant and a child who is unresponsive and not breathing normally

  • First aid to an infant and a child who is suffering from shock

  • Assess an emergency situation 

  • Foreign body airway obstruction

  • Infant and a child who is unresponsive and breathing normally

  • Wounds and bleeding

  • Suspected fracture and a dislocation

  • Chronic medical condition or sudden illness

  • Burns & scalds

  • How to provide first aid to an infant and a child with a head, a neck, and a back injury

  • Extreme body temperatures.

  • Poisoning

  • Foreign bodies in eyes, ears, and nose

  • Electric shock

  • Bites or stings

ANAPHYLAXIS MANAGEMENT (1/2 Day Course) 
Cost £50 Per Person
Prices inclusive of VAT

The Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis course is four hours and is designed to be delivered in one day. The course comprises of practical work and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment on CPR, AED, and use of an adrenaline auto-injector.


Course Content

A range of subjects are covered including:

  • Assessing an incident

  • Providing first aid to an unresponsive casualty

  • CPR including AED

  • Pocket mask

  • Recovery position

  • Recognising a casualty with anaphylaxis

  • Using an adrenaline auto-injector
